The rooms at the Hotel Restaurante Doña Anita feature country-style déco, satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Each one has a work desk, coffee maker and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Some also have a spa bath. The Doña Anita’s modern, rustic restaurant serves traditional Mediterranean food. There is also a bar and a terrace where you can enjoy a meal in the sun.
Our consecutively numbered tickets ensure you sit with your partner / friends and the rest of the MotoExpress group. Directly behind the grandstands are numerous catering facilities. Also a multitude of merchandising outlets for those must have T shirts and caps.
The Valencia circuit is unique. Similar to a football stadium, the grandstands surround the entire race track. It’s hard to describe the atmosphere, you need to be there. But imagine a sun baked football stadium with a packed fervent crowd of 140,000 Spanish fans. Than add the excitement of MotoGP bikes followed by the shock and awe of the biggest fireworks ever. You’re now getting close to understanding Valencia!
The unusaully named 'Boxes Grandstand' is a large grandstand situated along the Start / Finish Straight. This grandstand offers fans a reserved seat and a privileged view of the pit lane and and the start line. Also a huge panoramic view of the track. In fact you can follow the riders all the way around the circuit. The other major advantage of this grandstand is the view into the MotoGP paddock where you can watch the riders going in and out of their motorhomes and team garages.
Situated as the name suggests at the north end of stadium circuit. This is the biggest and main grandstand. In a circuit renowned for incident and drama, most of the overtaking takes place at the first turn following the start / finish straight and on the entrance into Doohan curve. Both directly in front of your grandstand.
At Valencia you don't really need huge Video Walls to keep you up to date with all the race action, you can see it all from your seat. But you have one and it's useful during the qualifying sessions.
140,000 Spanish fans will descend on the Ricardo Tormo circuit. The atmosphere outside the circuit from sunrise is terrific, whilst inside it’s fiesta time! This is motogp Spanish style! The biggest firework explosions ever. Mexican waves, Grandstand singing of ‘Ole, Ole, Ole, Ole’. If there is a Spanish victory in any class the celebrations take on a new dimension! After the race is finished, head for the huge catering tents located just outside circuit exits. Mix with the friendly Spaniards and savour the atmosphere that is unique to the Valencia MotoGP.
Requena is the real Spain the travel writers are yet to discover. An important wine town, many of Spain’s most notable wines are produced here. Our hotel is situated in the preserved historic centre. Sit outside the hotel with glass of wine in hand and witness a Spanish way life that you may had thought no longer existed.
Meet your fellow MotoGP guests for an informal gathering. I will talk to you about the weekend ahead and what to expect. Also advise you on where to go in Requena for shopping, restaurants and bars.
The Don Anita has a small restaurant serving traditional Spanish favourites. There are also a number of alternative restaurants to be found via a short walk into town.
Your hotel in Requena is situated ideally situated for exploring the Valencian region so take advantage of our special MotoExpress extra night rates and transform your MotoGP weekend into a wonderful Spanish adventure.
For this event you should book flights to Valencia or Alicante airport. The cost of the flights are not included in the event price. Note that there are many more cheap flights to Alicante than Valencia. Hotel to Valencia airport = 35 miles. Hotel to Alicante airport = 100 miles.
Transfers from Valencia airport to and from your hotel can be added as a cost option during the booking process. The transfers are normally specific to your flight although we will consolidate with other similarly timed flights of other guests.(sorry but we can not arrange transfers from Alicante).
During the race weekend we capture the spirit of the event in photos which we publish in the MotoExpress Photo Album for your lasting enjoyment.
