Just a quick note to thank you both and Hollie for a great weekend in Barcelona.
Everything was really well organised and Chris and I met up with some terrific aficionados of F1. There was only one disappointment which was Lewis’ front wheel!!
A thousand thanks yet again and all of the best for the future.
Hope this finds you and Linda well before the big weekend. Thank you again so much for the fantastic Spanish trip - we had so much fun and have completely fallen in love with the Costa Brava.
We just wanted to say thank you for a great weekend in Barcelona. We really enjoyed ourselves and have already pencilled in the dates for next year in the hope we can join you again!
We have already been recommending your company to friends and will continue to do so; the personal service you give is really second to none.
Just a note to say thank you to Linda and yourself for a well organized event From Thursday to Sunday. This was our first GP and hopefully we will be in a position to go and see many more. We will be sure to recommend Motoexpress to our friends.
We stayed in this hotel when we booked to go to the Formula 1 through Moto Express and all I can say is we had an amazing stay. We had an early flight out of Manchester and arrived at the hotel at around 11am. Our room wasn't ready but they promptly gave us the keys to the room next door and let us check in.
The room was lovely with an amazing view out towards the sea. It was large and clean. The bathroom had a jacuzzi, which we never used but the shower was powerful and we always had hot water. They provide, a tooth brush and toothpaste, and a razor and gel in travel packs as well as the usual shower cap etc etc. Nice touch. There is a hair dryer in the room but no iron. Tv channels in English are limited to CNN and Sky news.
Breakfast was plentiful with the usual cereal, fruit, cheese and meats and enough cakes to sink a battle ship. There was also hot food, mainly bacon, eggs and sausage. Toast and coffee are self service. It's a nice cup of coffee !! Dinner in the evening was varied and changed each evening, with dishes for vegetarians as well as meat eaters. I found after the salad and soup, a pudding was just enough. hubs went the whole yard and had a selection from the main buffet and he never once grumbled about choice !!! A food selection. The staff are brilliant and really helpful. One good thing they were doing was if you only had 1/2 a bottle of wine they would label and keep the other 1/2 for your next evening.... We never had any left but I thought it was a nice touch. The house wine at around 10 euros was nice and quite palatable. But there is a choice and you can spend more if you wish. The bar is large and has ample room with the most amazing view over the bay. Drinks are reasonable, and the bar tender can come across as a bit grumpy but by the end of our weeks stay was brilliant :) The hotel is situated on a hill and it is a bit of a walk into town. I think if you do have mobility issues then you will have to think about taxis.
Sant Feliu de Guixols is a lovely place, with a lovely beach and we loved meandering down there each day. It's a great hotel to use as a base for travelling and seeing the local area. We had a late flight home and asked if we could keep the room until 7pm. They said no problem if it wasn't needed, which it wasn't. We checked oust at 7pm and they didn't charge us anything !!
Linda and John from Moto Express were excellent hosts, we had no worries about anything. Buses were laid on to ferry us to and from the track. It took just under an hour and was chilled compared to people fighting to get back into Barcelona. We had a perfect break, busy with F1 but the extra days we booked were relaxed and chilled, which was down to the hotel and its location.
Greeting from a hot and sunny Deia.
Just wanted to drop you a note and say thank you for arranging another great trip. We both thoroughly enjoyed it.
Looking fwd to Singapore already.
Just got back to a not so sunny Cornwall !!
A quick one here to say a big thank you once again for a really good time (that bloody Selecta was too good!).
Enjoyed the whole weekend and great seats !
Thank you for a fabulous time in Barcelona 2016. The hotel was beautiful, excellent food and the views from the bar lounge magnificent. A disappointing race result but what a fantastic atmosphere at the circuit and great weather. We absolutely loved every minute of our trip and you were both great host! We both look forward to seeing you again very soon!
Just a note to say thank you to you and your lovely wife for the lovely time we had at the Barcelona Grand Prix. We had a fabulous time and thought it well worth the money one of the best parts was the slick way things were done, Having met you both I was confident from the outset that everything would run smoothly under you and your wife's command.
Hope you’re continuing to have a great summer of motorsport! Just wanted to say what a great time Ian and I had in Barcelona this year and what a great group of people.
Thanks again for a super event.
We invite guests to return to this section after they have attended the race and to share their enjoyment of the event with others. Send your feedback.
